Wedding films in Crawley.
Photography and film come from one in-house team. Hayden films your Crawley day while Aaron shoots stills alongside, so the vows, the speeches and the sound of the room come home with you, not just the pictures.
Why it is worth booking the film too.
Most couples planning a Crawley wedding sort the photographer first and leave the film as the thing they might add later. Then the day arrives in a rush of adrenaline, the speeches happen once, the first dance happens once, and there is no way to go back and record any of it again. Stills freeze how the day looked. Only a film gives you the movement and the sound, including your dad’s speech and the room going quiet before the rings.
It is the one part of the day you cannot make again afterwards, which is why we suggest booking the film early. A wedding near Gatwick is busy and loud and it moves fast, which is exactly the kind of day a film holds better than a photograph ever could, because so much of what you will want back is in the sound and not the frame.
One team for photos and film.
We are Robinson Martin Green, based at Mudberry Lane in Chichester. Hayden Martin-Green films and cuts, and Aaron Robinson shoots the stills beside him, so it is one team on one plan rather than a videographer and a photographer meeting for the first time in your ceremony room. That matters more on film than on stills. A filmmaker who has never met your photographer ends up in half their shots and competing for the aisle during the vows, and you are the one caught in the middle. We have already agreed who stands where before you walk in, so the camera can hold on you without a second shooter drifting into the frame.
We should be straight about Crawley. If you are after a wedding videographer in Crawley, it is worth knowing we are around 30 miles away, closer to us than much of East Sussex, so it sits comfortably in the ground we cover. What we will not do is pretend we have already filmed there. We have not yet filmed a Crawley wedding, and we would rather tell you that than dress up a page with a couple who does not exist. What we can show you is real film work an easy drive away, full films of 5:57 and about 3:53, and the same two people will be the ones who turn up for you.
Filming a busy day near Gatwick.
A Crawley wedding film has more than one look inside it. In the morning we film the getting-ready shots, the details and the walk down to the ceremony. The middle of the day is the house and its grounds, the part most couples picture when they imagine the film. Then the evening arrives, first dances, speeches and the noise of a full room, and near the airport the days run tight, so we work fast and stay out of the way rather than staging anything twice for the cameras.
The reception is where the sound matters most. First dances and speeches need the audio as much as the picture, so we keep recording the room while we film it, and the finished piece carries the laugh that ran through the best man and the first few bars of your first dance as they actually sounded, not a track dropped over the top.

Country houses around Crawley.
Real venues in and around the town, each with something specific to film around. We walk any of them ahead of your day so the first time we film there is not on the day itself.
Gravetye Manor near East Grinstead is an Elizabethan house of 1598 with celebrated gardens, the kind of grounds a film can open wide on and then close in tight, and a ceremony of around 70 guests keeps the sound intimate enough that the vows carry without a fight. Langshott Manor at Horley is a 16th-century Tudor manor minutes from Gatwick, with wood panelling and open fires that give a film warmth and texture, though panelled rooms throw sound around, which is exactly why we mic the vows close rather than trusting a camera across the room.
Tulleys Farm at Turners Hill is a rustic barn with exposed timbers about 10 minutes from Gatwick, a relaxed, noisy, joyful room that films beautifully as long as the audio is handled properly. Tilgate Park on the south-eastern edge of Crawley gives you gardens and a lake within a few minutes of the centre, water and open sky for the aerial shot if the Gatwick airspace allows it. That airspace is the one real constraint here, so we clear the drone permissions in advance and never assume them, and we walk each of these rooms first so we know where the sound sits before your day rather than on it.

Questions from couples filming near Gatwick.
Our venue is close to Gatwick. Will the film pick up planes over the vows?
It is a fair worry, and the answer is that we record the words at the source so a plane overhead does not wash them out. A discreet microphone on the groom and another on the officiant catch the vows and readings close, and a separate recorder takes the speeches, so the audio in the finished film is the voices from the day rather than a wide camera picking up the whole sky. Rooms near the airport are no harder for us to film in once we have walked them and know where the sound sits.
Can we have a short teaser reel quickly, and a drone shot given how close Gatwick is?
Yes to the teaser, and usually to the drone. We can cut a short vertical reel of around sixty seconds, sized for Instagram, and turn it round sooner than the full film so you have something to share in the days after the wedding. Drone footage depends on the airspace, and near Gatwick that really matters, so we clear the permissions in advance rather than on the day and tell you plainly beforehand if a restriction means we cannot fly, in which case we cover it from the ground.
How long is our wedding film, and is there a longer version?
There is no longer version, because each couple gets one wedding film, and every collection includes it. How long it runs depends on your day, and Adam and Panha above lasts just under six minutes. Silver and Gold add the speeches recorded in full in the film and a short teaser to share early, which arrives before the film. Everything lands in your private Wedding Hub, with the film usually there within eight to ten weeks of the day.
You are in Chichester. Can we book the film on its own, and is Crawley too far?
The film can be booked on its own if you already have a photographer, and it works well because we plan the day around whoever else is covering it. Crawley is roughly thirty miles from our base, closer to us than a lot of East Sussex, so it sits comfortably in the ground we travel, and we build the drive into the timings and agree any travel on the quote upfront. Most couples book the film and the photography together so one in-house team runs the whole day, which is what we would recommend, but the film does not depend on it.
Have you actually filmed a Crawley wedding?
Not yet, and we will not pretend we have. Our real films so far are from days further west, around Pulborough and Horsham, so Crawley is a place we cover and travel to rather than one we can show you a finished film in. What we can do for any venue we have not filmed at, and that will usually be the case near Gatwick, is drive out and walk it before your date so we already know where the sound is clean and where the light will be, and the two people who filmed those real days are the same two who would film yours.
