Wedding photography and film in Crawley.
One team covers both the photographs and the film. We cover Crawley and the country houses around Gatwick, never two strangers competing for the same shot.
Most couples planning a Crawley wedding set out to book a photographer and, separately, a videographer. It sounds sensible until the week of the wedding, when you are the one holding two timelines together. Two suppliers means two sets of questions about when the speeches start, two people who each want you to themselves for portraits, and two strangers who meet for the first time in your ceremony room and quietly compete for the same angle during the vows.
It is worse at a busy venue. Near Gatwick the days run tight and the rooms fill fast, and a photographer and a filmmaker who have never worked together end up in each other’s frames. The coordination doesn’t disappear. It lands on you, on what is supposed to be the one day you’re not meant to be managing anything.

One studio for photo and film.
We are Robinson Martin Green, a two-person studio based at Mudberry Lane in Chichester. Aaron Robinson shoots the stills and Hayden Martin-Green shoots the film, and we come as one team on one plan. There is a single timeline, a single shot list, one point of contact and one agreement about who stands where, so neither of us blocks the other and you are not refereeing two suppliers through your own wedding. The photographs and the film come from the same plan, rather than two versions that never quite line up.
We should be straight about Crawley. It’s around thirty miles from our base, closer to us than much of East Sussex, so it sits comfortably in the ground we cover. What we won’t do is pretend we’ve already shot there. We have not yet documented a Crawley wedding, and we would rather tell you that than dress up a page with a couple who does not exist. What we can show you is real work an easy drive away, and the same two people will be the ones who turn up for you.
A few of the Crawley settings we are set up for.
Real venues in and around the town, each with something specific to plan around. We visit any of them ahead of your day so the first time we shoot there is not on the day itself.
Crawley and the Gatwick area
- Gravetye Manor near East Grinstead, an Elizabethan manor from 1598 turned country house hotel with 17 rooms and celebrated gardens, licensed for a ceremony of around 70 guests.
- Langshott Manor at Horley, a 16th-century Tudor manor house hotel with 22 bedrooms minutes from Gatwick, with original wood panelling, open fires and gardens leading to the oak front door.
- Tulleys Farm at Turners Hill, a rustic barn venue with exposed timbers around 10 minutes from Gatwick, for couples after a relaxed countryside day rather than a formal hall.
- The High Weald countryside around the town, with Tilgate Park and its lake on the south-eastern edge of Crawley giving you gardens and open water within a few minutes of the centre.

We check your date
Send us your date and your venue and we tell you straight away whether we are free. If we are, we talk through what you want the day to feel like and which parts matter most to you.
We plan and visit
We build the drive into the timings, agree the order of the day and, for a venue we have not worked at, we visit Crawley ahead of time so we already know the space and the light.
You get your photos and film
Your photographs and film come back together from one team, rather than as two separate sets from suppliers who never spoke. You get a gallery you can share and keep.

Common questions from Crawley couples.
Have you photographed a wedding in Crawley before?
Not yet, and we will say so plainly. Our real weddings so far sit a little further west, around Horsham, Pulborough and beyond. Crawley is a place we cover and travel to rather than one we can show you a finished day in. For any venue we have not worked at, we drive out and walk it before your date so we already know the ceremony space, where the light falls and the best spots for portraits before we turn up on the morning.
You are based in Chichester. Is Crawley too far for you?
No. Crawley is roughly thirty miles from our base at Mudberry Lane, closer to us than a lot of East Sussex, so it sits comfortably in the ground we travel. We build the drive into the timings so we arrive with room to spare, and we agree any travel on the quote upfront rather than adding it quietly later.
A lot of Crawley couples marry near Gatwick. Are you happy at those venues?
Yes. Venues like Langshott Manor and Tulleys sit within a few minutes of Gatwick, and a busy corner of the county suits the way we work. We scout the venue beforehand, plan around the light and stay out of the day itself, so a venue near the airport is no different for us than a quiet country house once we have walked it.
Do you cover both the photography and the film?
We do, as one studio. Aaron shoots the stills and Hayden shoots the film, and we work to one timeline and one shot list rather than as two suppliers who met that morning. It means the photographs and the film match each other, and you are not left coordinating two separate people through your own wedding.
How far ahead should we book a Crawley date?
Popular dates from late spring through to early autumn tend to go 12 to 18 months out, and the country house venues around Crawley fill first. Shorter notice does come up, so it is worth asking even if your date is only 3 or 4 months away and we will tell you straight whether we are free.
Real weddings an easy drive away.
We have not shot in Crawley yet, so rather than invent a local day we will point you at three genuine ones an easy drive away. The rest is one click away.
Send us your date and your venue.
One of us will reply to you personally, within 24 hours in almost every case, or call us on 07928 549702. We will tell you straight away whether we are free.
