Horsham & West Sussex

Wedding photography and film in Horsham.

Aaron photographs and Hayden films, and we plan the day together. We cover Horsham and the country venues around it, never two strangers competing for the same shot.

The walk out of Horsham Register Office at Park House onto the gardens that back onto Horsham Park is one of the few moments in the day when a couple gets a few seconds to themselves. Photographers who have shot there know to hang back on the steps for it. We are Robinson Martin Green, a two-person studio based in West Sussex, and we cover weddings across Horsham and the country venues around it as one team that shoots both the photographs and the film.

The team is Aaron Robinson on stills and Hayden Martin-Green on film. We work as one unit on the day rather than two suppliers who met for the first time that morning. That matters more than it sounds. At a venue like Brookfield Barn, with its lakeside ceremony space and 22 acres to move through, a photographer and a filmmaker who have not worked together end up in each other’s frames and competing for the same spot during the speeches. We have already agreed who stands where, so neither of us blocks the other and you are not the person trying to keep two strangers apart.

We should be straight about this. Robinson Martin Green is a new studio with a small number of real weddings behind it, not a long list of Horsham jobs going back ten years. We would rather show you one we are proud of than pad a page with claims we cannot stand behind.

A full-day Bronze wedding that started with the ceremony in Horsham and moved on to the reception at The Highdown. The same two of us were there from morning to evening.

Ceremony in Horsham · reception at The Highdown

In the weeks before, we sent them a written list of the photographs and the film moments we planned to cover, so nothing important rested on memory and nothing felt rushed once everyone arrived. The same two of us stayed with them from the morning preparations through to the evening, around 12 hours in all. That continuity is the whole point of how we run a day, and it is the part couples tell us they felt most.

RMG was absolutely fantastic at capturing our special day. Everyone made us feel so comfortable from the start. Their organisation and professionalism put us at ease, and we knew we were in good hands. They provided us with a list of photos and videos, ensuring a wide variety of options that perfectly captured our wedding day. We were thrilled with the results, our family can now cherish these moments forever. We can’t thank them enough for their incredible work!Lucus & Becky
How we cover a Horsham day

One team for photo and film.

Most couples start out planning to hire a photographer and a separate videographer. The hidden cost of that is coordination, and it lands on you. Two suppliers means two timelines to chase, two sets of questions about when the speeches start, and two people who each want the couple to themselves for portraits. Booking the photographs and the film as one studio removes all of that. There is one timeline, one shot list, one point of contact, and one shared plan for how Aaron and Hayden move through your day.

In practice that means we run stills and film side by side without staging anything twice. We talk through the order of the day with you in advance, walk an unfamiliar venue beforehand where we can, and agree the moments that matter to you specifically rather than working off a generic template. The register office runs two ceremony rooms, the Drawing Room seating about 30 and the smaller Chairman’s Room around 8, so we plan our positions around whichever you choose.

A few of the Horsham settings we are set up for

    • South Lodge at Lower Beeding, a country house hotel with wide views towards the South Downs, where full-day weddings start from roughly £5,550.
    • Brookfield Barn, an exclusive barn in the lanes outside town with a lakeside ceremony space and 22 acres of grounds.
    • Cisswood House at Lower Beeding, a hotel that has hosted weddings since 1928 and suits a smaller, more relaxed day.
    • Horsham Register Office on North Street, a Grade II Georgian building backing onto Horsham Park, a short walk from the Carfax and St Mary’s Church for portraits in the old town.

    Common questions from Horsham couples.

Do you know the Horsham venues, or do you turn up cold?

We have shot in and around Horsham and we know the layout of the register office at Park House, including the walk out to the garden behind it. For any venue we have not worked at before, we visit ahead of the day so we already know the ceremony room, the light and the spaces for portraits before we arrive with you.

We are marrying at the register office and moving on for the reception. Can you cover both?

Yes, and that split is common in Horsham because the register office is a ceremony space rather than an all-day venue. Becky and Lucas did exactly this, marrying in Horsham and continuing to The Highdown. We stay with you across both, so the morning and the evening come back as one set.

If we only want the film and not the photographs, can you still do that?

Yes. Most couples take both because it is the same team and one booking, but you can have film only or photographs only. We will tell you honestly which makes sense for the kind of day you are planning rather than pushing the larger option.

How far in advance should we book a Horsham summer Saturday?

Popular dates from late spring through to early autumn tend to go 12 to 18 months out, and the country venues near Horsham fill first. Shorter notice does come up, so it is worth asking even if your date is only a few months away.
