Wedding photography and film in Reigate.
Aaron photographs and Hayden films, and we plan the day together. We travel east to Reigate and the venues along the North Downs, never two strangers competing for the same shot.
Reigate tucks in under the North Downs, with Reigate Hill rising straight up behind the town and the old Priory green sitting right in the middle of it. A photographer who knows that ground waits for the late light to come along the ridge rather than shooting it flat in the middle of the day. We are Robinson Martin Green, a two-person studio based at Mudberry Lane in Chichester, and as a wedding photographer in Reigate we cover the day as one team that shoots both the photographs and the film rather than two suppliers meeting for the first time in your car park.
That matters more than it sounds. Aaron Robinson shoots the stills and Hayden Martin-Green shoots the film, and because we work as one unit there is one timeline, one shot list and one plan for who stands where, so neither of us ends up in the other’s frame during the vows or pulling you two ways for portraits. You get one set of work that was planned together, not two that were shot around each other.
We should be straight about the distance. Reigate is about forty miles east of us, over in Surrey rather than West Sussex where most of our work sits, so it is one of the longer drives we make and a further reach than our home patch. We are glad to travel to it and we plan the route and the timings in properly. What we will not do is pad this page out with a Reigate couple who does not exist. We have not yet documented a wedding in the town, so we will say that plainly and show you real days an easy drive away instead.

How a Reigate day would run with us.
We would normally show you a wedding at the venue here. As we have not shot one in Reigate yet, this is honestly how we would plan and cover the day rather than a real one dressed up as local.
Say the ceremony is at Reigate Manor. We would have walked the manor before the day, so we already know which room your vows are in and where the light falls in it through the afternoon. The morning starts with the drive over from Chichester built into the plan, then Aaron on the getting-ready pictures while Hayden sets up for the ceremony, the two of us moving as one so neither of us is in the other’s frame when it matters. Through the vows one of us stays on your faces while the other holds the wider shot of the room, so nothing important rests on a single camera. After the ceremony we would take you the short walk to Priory Park or up toward Reigate Hill for portraits in the late light while your guests settle with a drink, then back for the speeches and the evening.
Nothing in that gets staged twice. We run the stills and the film side by side, so you are never asked to repeat a moment for a second camera. Afterwards your photographs and your film arrive together in one private Wedding Hub, with no links to chase and nothing that expires. That is the day you would get, described straight, rather than promised through someone else’s wedding.
Reigate and the North Downs
- Reigate Manor, a Georgian manor house set in the middle of the town, licensed for civil ceremonies and able to hold larger celebrations of up to two hundred guests, with the Surrey Hills a short way beyond.
- Nutfield Priory just east of Reigate, a house dating to 1872 perched on the Nutfield ridge, where original stained glass and oak panelling inside give way to long views over the Surrey Hills from the rear gardens.
- Reigate Hill on the doorstep, a stretch of the North Downs within the Surrey Hills area of outstanding natural beauty, by Gatton Park and the old Reigate Fort, for couples who want the wider countryside behind them.
- Priory Park in the centre of town, the green beside Reigate Priory, an easy walk from most town venues for portraits under the trees between the ceremony and the reception.
A few of the Reigate settings we are set up for.
Real venues and landmarks in and around the town, each with something specific to plan around. We visit any of them ahead of your day, so the first time we shoot there is not on the day itself.
One team, one shared plan.
Most couples set out planning to book a photographer and a separate videographer, and the hidden cost of that lands on you: two timelines to chase, two sets of questions about when the speeches start, and two people who each want you to themselves for portraits. Booking the photographs and the film as one studio takes all of that away. There is one timeline, one shot list, one point of contact and one shared plan for how Aaron and Hayden move through your day.
Before the day we walk your venue, agree the order of events with you and pin down the moments that matter to you specifically rather than working off a template. On the day we read the same room from the moment we arrive, running photo and film together without staging anything twice. If your ceremony is at the manor and the reception moves elsewhere, or the whole day sits up at Nutfield, we stay with you across all of it so the morning and the evening come back as one set.
Your day as a film, from the same team.
The film is not a bolt-on from an outside supplier. Hayden shoots it as part of the same team on the same plan, which is why the photographs and the film feel like one day rather than two versions of it. You get the photographs and a film with the sound of the speeches and the vows, both from the same day and delivered into the same private Wedding Hub.

How the Wedding Hub works.
Your wedding planned in one place.
From the moment you book, your private Wedding Hub keeps the whole day organised.
- One shared timelineYour running order, agreed with both of us, so everyone knows the timings.
- Messages and documentsEvery plan, form and venue detail in one place instead of spread across your inbox.
- Gallery and film deliveredYour photographs and film are delivered to the same place after the wedding.
Common questions from Reigate couples.
Have you shot a wedding in Reigate before?
Not in Reigate itself, and we will not pretend otherwise. Our documented weddings are in West Sussex and just over the Berkshire border rather than in Surrey. For any venue that is new to us, we visit before your day so we already know the ceremony room, the light and where portraits work. Reigate Manor and Nutfield Priory are both places we would walk ahead of a booking rather than see for the first time on the morning.
You are a Chichester studio. Is Reigate too far to cover?
It is one of our longer drives, around forty miles east along the North Downs, and we would rather be upfront about that than bury it. It is within range and we are happy to travel to it. In practice it means an early start and a planned route, both of which we build into the day rather than leave to the last minute. If a date ever made the travel unworkable we would say so instead of taking the booking regardless.
How do you handle the light at a venue like Nutfield Priory?
By planning for it rather than reacting to it. A ridge-top setting like Nutfield or the gardens at Reigate Manor shifts from bright to shaded quickly through the afternoon, so we work out where the light will sit at your ceremony time and keep a little back for portraits as the sun drops over the Surrey Hills. With two of us, one can be watching the light while the other stays with you.
How far ahead should we book a Reigate date?
The busy stretch from late spring to early autumn tends to go twelve to eighteen months ahead, and the manor and ridge-top venues around Reigate fill first. Shorter notice does happen, so it is always worth asking even if your date is close. We only hold one wedding a day, so once your date is booked it is yours alone.
